The jacket you just saw has a story before it became this wearable work of art.
"Once, the jacket was bought an worn to make its owner look beautiful.
While wearing it, it would feel like home, no matter where in the world.
And then , one day, the jackets was no longer the best jacket in the world."
So I bought it to transforme it into this wearable art jacket. Now the jacket has a new purpose, to tell a story to the world.
Underneath the colorful appearance there is more, herb symbolism, poetry and a bird.
The symbols on this jacket tell you about the time after a farewell.

poetry
Words on the jacket are inspired by the poem of Amy Lowell. Amy Lowell lived from 1874–1925. Her poems are connected to the imagism movement. One of the characteristics of this kind of poetry is that the poets tried to use ordinary language.
" Vintage I will mix me a drink of stars,-- Large stars with polychrome needles, Small stars jetting maroon and crimson, Cool, quiet, green stars. I will tear them out of the sky, And squeeze them over an old silver cup,....... ............... And I shall be hot, and laugh, Forgetting that I have ever known a woman." the link below brings you to the whole poem. |
animal symbolism
This little bird is a symbol for joy, working hard in a team. Don't give up, be proud of your abilities an use your creative energy to fulfill your dreams and, while doing so, maybe also the dreams of others.
